行場
一日中大雨
宿からバイクで30分
ウェットを着たままポイントへ向かう
50~60kmで雨の島を走り抜けるバイクは
こんなにも体温を奪うとは知らなかった
ポイントへ着くとバイクが数台止まっていた
数人のサーファーがいるようだが
昨日みつけた別な場へ向かう
しかし、巨大なダンパーで波はとても入れる状況じゃないほど荒れていた
さっきの場へ戻ると
丁度サーファーの仲間数人が上がってきた
丁度今が満潮だが
彼らは１時間ほど雨の水面にいたようだ
海も少しあれている
この沖で独りはなかな渋い
心がこの墨を流したような海と空間に
流されそうだが
せっかく来たのだから
行く決心をした。
しばらく観察したが
波のタイミングを見極めれば
うまくあの浅瀬から出れそうな気がした
危な感じが張りつめたら潔く戻ろうと決めた
今回はスローシャッターにしてみる
海でダイヤル操作はできないので
カメラの防水ケースを閉める前に１秒の20分の１に設定してみる
こんなスローで撮った事はないが
新たな作品にかけたかった。
沖まで15分泳ぎ
浅瀬を10mほど歩きながら
遠まわりをして
ここまできた
途中位、切り立った崖のような海底のパスを横切る際に
濃紺の淵に海ごと吸い込まれそうになる
なんとか泳ぎ出るが
独特な空間が支配している
鉛色の空から
沖からは鈍く青い水が、重く鋭く回転しながら幾重にも迫る
海底の地形や，珊瑚を目にやきつけ
ある距離を保ちつつ、泳いでは潜りこの重く固い波をかわすが
久しぶりに
とてつもない寂しさと怖さで胸が潰されそうだ
雨が激しく打ち付ける
「戻ろう」
沖まで20分
この場で波をかわすこと15~20分
戻るのに20分
結局1時間を忘れてはいけない
潮がぐんぐん引き始め
水深が浅くなり
その凶暴で早い波から逃げるように
もと来た海の上の道を探した
この写真を6/12から始まる南青山のノートンギャラリーで出す事にした
忘れようとしても
忘れない
体と心に染み込んだこの青のすみか
中毒なのか？
トラウマを消す為にまたここに向かうのか？
